More than a list
Lists are held to keep track, or at least try to, but people tend to be unreliable. "I'll bring it back in a few seconds," people forget to sign the list, errors are recorded on the time or date, and in the end, the key is missing. You can solve this problem with an electronic box. The users identify themselves to the cabinet using a prescribed technique (PIN code, RFIP identification (e.g. from the access control system), magnetic card or biometric procedure).
