MYINTERCOM INFORMATION
Dear Client,
We regret to inform you that the cloud service for the myintercom product is no longer available.
This cloud service enabled calls to be made to smart devices outside the local network, i.e. via 3G/4G/5G.
The disconnection means that you will no longer receive calls outside your private network.
The devices continue to function as usual (image storage, doorbell signaling and notification to your smartphone such as communication). Door opening is also still possible.
After a takeover of the software service provider myintercom, the new owners unfortunately decided not to continue this platform.
SecuriTec has tried to reach a paid subscription model with the manufacturer to enable further use without any restriction but this request was rejected. We also have tried to offer this service on our own server for the affected customers, but the manufacturer is also not willing to provide us with the required programs. myintercom informed the users about the disconnection of the service via the application's release notes, but very few had taken note of it. The application has already been removed from the App Store/Google Play.
Of course, we now have an alternative solution in the form of more recent videophones (a better image quality, a wider angle, recorded motion detection and other features) and are striving to offer you these while maintaining size and shape of the myintercom device.
